Document Delimiting

Document delimiting is the process by which the document boundaries are determined. It is common practice to also determine the host/attachment relationship between individual documents.

When determining the host/attachment relationship, E-file follows the delimiting protocol as set by the Federal Court of Australia. However, amendments can be made to this methodology to match the needs of the client.

E-file uses their own proprietary software platform to delimit documents ‘on the screen’. This method of electronic document delimiting negates the need for delimiting labels – thus increasing efficiency and reducing cost.
